About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Assistant General Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in leading our Watford restaurant. You’ll play a key role in managing daily operations, inspiring your team, delivering outstanding guest experiences, maintaining operational excellence, and helping drive the restaurant’s commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager with day-to-day restaurant operations.
  • Lead shifts and ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Recruit, onboard, train and develop team members.
  • Maintain food quality, hygiene and operational standards.
  • Manage labour, scheduling, stock and inventory.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
  • Support marketing initiatives and opening/closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety and company policies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous hospitality management experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service focus.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety.
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
  • A minimum of 2 years of restaurant experience is essential for this role.
